PTA Notifies Auction of 3G Licence

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has notified the advertisment in the leading newspapers for the auction of 3G/4G/LTE spectrum for cellular operators.

Telecom Recorder mentioned the report of official advertisment earlier, however the official advertisement shows the seriousiness of authority getting prepared to bring out framework and regulations of new technology regime.

The authority has mentioned that allocated frequency will be 1900/2100 MHz in the auction decided to be held in March 2012.

There will three operators who will avail licence and luanch the 3G/4G/LTE services on their networks.
