Anjum Nida Rahman, Director Corporate Communications & Responsibility, Telenor Pakistan, has decided leave Telenor Pakistan and join World Bank as a consultant.
She will be leaving Telenor by end of January 2012 after serving one and three months with the company.
Vice President Corporate Affairs, Aamer Izhar ul Haq, in his comments said, “Anjum has been a wonderful team player and her contribution to Telenor Pakistan cannot be overstated. We will definitely miss her and wish her best of luck for her future endeavors”.
Anjum expressed satisfaction with her tenure at Telenor Pakistan, “Fifteen months in Telecommunications feels like a lifetime. I learnt the nuts and bolts of this industry and I want to take these insights to the next level and incorporate the use of this medium in to both the development and government sectors.”
Affan Haider, Manager Corporate Communications, will be the acting spokesperson of the company to look after media affairs.
Now Affan Haider should be taken a complete charge of Telenor PR and Corporate Affairs Department. He is competent and loyal to the company, and spent a significant time already as acting spokesman of the company.
