Ammara Durrani Appointed To Head PTCL’s Department of Corporate Communications

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has appointed Ammara Durrani as General Manager of its Corporate Communications Department after five months period of Farha Hussian’s quit.

Durrani will be assuming her charge as head of the department shortly to rebuild affairs in media industry and corporate sector with her strong management and relationship skills.

She is well-qualified having degrees of foreign and local universities with proven professional experience in electronic and print media.

Durrani is currently working as Project Director & Strategic Communications Specialist at Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government. She also worked for USAID at various projects.

She was seasoned journalist as she had spent invaluable period at The News International as Assistant Editor and Senior Correspondent.

PTCL’s Corporate Communication Department will likely to be revamped with her addition as previous it was faced tough period with shortage of staff and propping up issues by media side.

Presently, Aqeel Shigri is looking after media affairs and relations while Lubna Jahangir is managing corporate issues.
